o Most of the shirts I use come from a really cool American company. Their apparel is made world wide in sweatshop free conditions, upheld by strict labor standards. This year, the company launched a line of eco-friendly wear that West of the Moon looks forward to using as more styles become available.
o All the vendors I work with are chosen for the quality of their product as much as for their commitment to conducting business in a socially and environmentally responsible way.
o The ink used to print the shirts is water based and non-toxic.
o The cups, plates, napkins, and tableware used for the Trunk Shows are made from recycled and biocompostable materials. All available at Worldcentric.org. The food served, including the wine, is for the most part organically grown! The gift bags and tissue paper is also made from recycled paper. o Lastly, West of the Moon Studio is now a member of 1% FTP. One Percent for the Planet is an alliance of companies that recognize the true cost of doing business and donate 1% of their sales to environmental organizations worldwide. Onepercentfortheplanet.org.
